As a neuroscience nurse case manager (CM), Ms. Barker assesses, plans, implements, coordinates, monitors and evaluates options and services to meet her client's needs and prevent complications using available resources to promote positive, cost-effective outcomes. She coordinates the involvement of quality health care services to meet the health needs of her individual clients who have neurologic disorders in a cost-effective manner.
As a CM, Ms. Barker serves as an important link between her clients, members of the health care team, the payer and the community.
